Evaluating the performance of fourteen chrysanthemum (Dendranthema grandiflora) varieties under ratoon conditions was conducted at the Department of Floriculture and Landscaping, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, during 2024-25. The trial was laid out in a randomized block design with two replications and observations were recorded on growth, flowering and yield parameters. Significant varietal differences were observed, Bidhan Savita produced the maximum number of primary branches (11.30), tertiary branches (103.60) while Texas Gold showed the highest secondary branching (76.40). Early bud initiation occurred in Geetanjali (37.70 days), while Red Gold was late among all (73.70 days). Maximum flower duration is recorded in Thai Chen Queen (17.70 days), while minimum in Texas Gold (11.90 days) Flowers per plant were maximum in Bidhan Savita (125.70) and minimum flowers in Bidhan Rajat (55.00). Maximum weight of flowers per plant is recorded in Thai Chen Queen (164.61 g), while least weight is observed in Seema (43.82 g). Yield performance was highest in Thai Chen Queen (7.00 t/ha), Bidhan Shova (6.76 t/ha) and Bidhan Madhuri (6.59 t/ha), while Seema (1.86 t/ha) and HYDC-29 (1.93 t/ha) recorded the lowest yields. Overall, Thai Chen Queen, Bidhan Savita, Bidhan Shova and Bidhan Madhuri emerged as promising varieties for ratoon chrysanthemum cultivation due to their superior growth, flowering and traits.
