Abstract:

The present investigation were carried out under In-vitro compatibility of entomopathogenic fungi (B. bassiana) with different agrochemicals in the BTC College of Agriculture and Research Station, Bilaspur (C.G.). The compatibility test was carried out by Poison food techniques with nine novel insecticides and fungicides against B. bassiana. Insecticidal compatibility with B. bassiana recorded highest mycelial growth in T1-Fipronil 5% SC (57.50 mm) at 7th DAI. Similarly maximum sporulation (4.32× 107 CFU ml-1) and highest spore germination (75.23%) was recorded in T1-Fipronil 5% SC. All the tested insecticides were classified according to toxicity Fipronil 5% SC and Chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC was LT (Low toxic) while rest were moderate toxic and toxic. In fungicidal compatibility only two i.e. Validamycin (56.06 mm) and Propineb (28.94 mm) showed significant growth of B. bassiana but in case of B. bassiana on sporulation Validamycin recorded 2.16 x 107 and Propineb recorded 1.33 x 107 CFUs ml-1 which was much lesser than control (5.67 x 107 CFUs ml-1). Maximum spore germination of B. bassiana was found in Validamycin (81.02%) and Propineb (70.68%). All the tested fungicides were classified and found that only Validamycin showed less toxic (64.05) against and rest showed very toxic (0-30).
