The present investigation entitled “Assessment of seedlings and different levels of water-soluble fertilizers on growth studies in areca palm” was carried out during 2024-2025 at Maharaj Bagh Garden Conservatory and open field, College of Agriculture, Nagpur. The primary objective is to study the effect of number of seedlings polybag-1 with different quantity of water-soluble fertilizers on growth of areca palm and to find out suitable number of seedlings polybag-1 with different quantity of water-soluble fertilizer dose for better growth of areca palm.
Significant differences were recorded among treatment combinations in growth attributes. Application of 6 g of 19:19:19 NPK water-soluble fertilizer with 1 seedling polybag-1 (S1F4) resulted in highest plant height at 90 days (28.8 cm), leaf area (24.80 cm2), length of leaf at 90 days (17.38 cm), stem diameter at 90 days (1.96 cm), length of root (15.31 cm), root volume (8.14 ml), fresh weight (20.48 g) and survival percentage (86.50%). Overall, 6 g of 19:19:19 NPK water-soluble fertilizer with 1 seedling polybag-1 proved most effective for enhancing growth attributes.
