The current study was carried out to evaluate the effect of various physico-chemical parameters on the growth and survival of Monodactylus argenteus over a period of 90-days and sampling was done every ten days. The experiment followed a completely randomized design with four different basal feed with different crude protein protein percentage, 28%, 35%, and 40%. For each basal feed were formulated with graded Spirulina platensis powder at a rate of 0%, S3%, S5% and S8% of Spirulina platensis added. Three hundred and twenty fish (1±0.23 g) transferred in to the sixteen experimental tank of 50 liter capacity (60×30×30 cm) with respect to their duplicates and fishes (10 numbers) were randomly distributed among the treatments at the starting of the experiment. Various Physico-chemical parameters including Water temperature, pH, Total alkalinity, Total hardness, DO and total ammonia were estimated. The Dissolved oxygen values in the aquaria during the experimental period varied between 5.4-8.2 ppm. The highest value of 8.2 ppm was recorded in control tank of CP22 and the lowest value of 5.4 ppm was recorded in CP22 S₃ (70^th day) and CP22 S₈ (90^th day) throughout the experiment. During the experiment period average value of temperature pH ranges from 28.2 °C to 31.3 °C and 7.4 and 8.2, respectively. The total ammonia ranges between the 0.12 to 0.37 mg/lit. Among all water quality parameters, water temperature, dissolved oxygen and pH play a significant role in Monodactylus argenteus health management since these parameters are extremely influential in determining the various physiological processes in ornamental fish health.
