This study aimed to explore the potential variables influencing the conception rate in goats that were artificially inseminated in Uttar Pradesh under field conditions. The data used in the present investigation was collected from two districts. A total of 225 artificial inseminations performed in goats owned by 136 farmers were performed from June, 2021 to April, 2023. District, season, animal stage (young and adult does) and breeding group (ND and IND) did not affect (p>0.05) the conception rate whereas a highly significant effect (p<0.001) of the breed of the inseminating bucks were found on the conception rate in the present study. Enhancing the awareness and technical competence of inseminators is crucial for boosting artificial insemination in goats. Additionally, goat owners should receive more technical and managemental guidance with follow-up.
