Present study was carried out on twelve healthy, lactating Purnathadi buffalaoes across three distinct phases of lactation: Early (30th and 60th days), Mid (120th and 150th days), and Late (210th and 240th days). Blood samples were collected aseptically from the jugular vein on the respective days and analysed for serum protein profile. The results indicated that there was a significant difference (p<0.01) with increasing trend in the values of serum Total Proteins and serum Globulin while with decreasing trend in A:G ratio among different stages of lactation including different days of lactation. However, there was no significant difference and no definite trend in the level of serum Albumin during different phases and day-wise lactation.
