Identification of quantitative trait loci (QTLs) for response to grain yield under low light stress condition in rice (Oryza sativa L.)

QTL analysis was performed using WIN QTL cartographer 2.5. Considering these facts in present investigation for QTL analysis 122 RIL lines were taken from cross between Danteshwari x Dagad Deshi (D X D) parents both are indica types and about 162 polymorphic SSR and HvSSR marker. Where is the marker RM-230 was significantly linked with chlorophyll a, days to 50% flowering on chromosome # 8. The marker RM-511 was significantly linked with chlorophyll b on chromosome # 12. The seven markers HvSSR-426 and RM-564, RM-273, RM-136, HvSSR-635, HvSSR-644, RM-340 were significantly linked with SLW on chromosome # 4, # 4 # 4, and # 6, # 6, # 6, # 6 respectively, The four markers HvSSR-442 and RM-317, HvSSR-111, RM-17 were significantly linked with TDM on chromosome # 4, # 4 # 11, and # 12 respectively, the markers RM-14, HvSSR-112, HvSSR-113 and RM-20 were significantly linked with grain yield on chromosome # 1, #11, #11 and #12 respectively for normal light and low light conditions.
