Abstract:
An8-month-old non descript calf was presented, VCC, COVAS, Parbhani with bilateral mandibular fractures due to accidental trauma. The calf had a dropped jaw, drooling of saliva and functional impairment. Radiographic examination revealed complete bilateral fractures of the horizontal ramuscaudal to incisor. Bilateral intramedullary pin fixation was performed to stabilize the fracture. The calf showed normal feeding behaviour within 15 days of surgery without any complications.
