Occurrence of ruminal dysfunctions in cattle

Abstract:
The objective of the present study was to determine the various ruminal dysfunctions in Cattle with reference to acid indigestion. Cattle that were presented to the Primary Veterinary Centre in Kasipet Mandal, Mancherial District, and its surrounding villages for a period of 5 months were screened for the presence of ruminal dysfunctions. Occurrence of ruminal dysfunctions in Cattle in the present study was made based on history, clinical signs, rumen fluid examination and haematobichemical examination.
