Abstract:

Ivy gourd is most nutritious and healthy vegetable crops among different cucurbit crops. The aim of present investigation was to know the profitability and economically best integrated nutrient management treatment in ivy gourd. A field study was conducted with 11 treatments in three replications. From calculation of economics of experiment, the results emerged out that higher net realization and BC ratio (Rs. 2,50,979 and 3.10) was recorded in T11: 50% RDF + bio compost. Whereas lower net realization and BC ratio (Rs. 1,78,875 and 1.88 respectively) of ivy gourd was registered with T2: FYM. Moreover, yield of INM based ivy gourd cultivation led to reduce cost of chemical fertilizer and economically viable for ivy gourd growing.
