A field experiment entitled “Effect of foliar application of fungicides, PGR’s and bioagents on yield and seed quality of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill)” was conducted during kharif 2019 at Seed technology research Farm, Department of Agriculture Botany, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agriculture University, Parbhani. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with three replications and ten treatments. The Foliar application of fungicides, PGR’s and bioagents (T1-Bio mix @ 10 ml/lit, T2- Boron @ 1%, T3 -Ammonium Molybdenum @ 1%, T4 -fungicides -opera (BASF) @ 2 ml/lit, T5 -Kaolin @ 1%, T6 - GA3 100 ppm, T7 - CCC 500 ppm, T8 - fungicides-SAAF @ 2ml/lit, T9- ABA @ 1%) were applied on soybean at 50 and 70 DAS.
Application of fungicides, PGR’s and bioagents increased the plant height. The number of branches increased significantly with these treatments. The different treatments significantly increased number of pods, no. of seeds per pod, Seed weight (100 seeds), Yield per plant, Yield kg/ha. The application of GA3 @ 100 ppm recorded significantly highest seed yield in the soybean genotype MAUS-158.
