Abstract:

This study evaluates the therapeutic efficacy of two treatment protocols for ruminal acid indigestion in cattle. Twelve affected animals were divided into two groups of six each. Group I received conventional therapy, while Group II underwent rumen lavage and transfaunation in addition to conventional therapy. The comparative outcomes were assessed based on clinical recovery and hematological and biochemical parameters.
