Abstract:
Sepsis is as an exaggerated immuno response initiated by an invading pathogen in the host that leads to failure of homeostasis and eventually immunosuppression. Under certain circumstaces, the components of innate immune response which otherwise defend the body against infection, result in damage to the host tissues and organ dys-function. Since, the condition of sepsis leads to high mortality, it is important to undermine various ways in which the response of host is dysregulated. So, the present review highlights the pathology of immune system in response to the sepsis.
