Abstract:
A field experiment was conducted to study the chemical properties of mulberry field soil and quality of mulberry leaf after application of liquid organic manures to V-1 mulberry garden planted at 90+150 × 60 cm spacing in red loamy soil during 2020-21. Application of bio digested liquid organic manure equivalent to 150% N ha-1 has recorded the highest major nutrient contents (available N, P2O5, K2O and S of 316.36, 51.51, 164.52 kg/ha and 7.78 ppm) in soil compared to control. Application of bio digested liquid organic manure equivalent to 150% N ha-1 also significantly increased the mulberry leaf qualities such as nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium, chlorophyll, crude protein and carbohydrate contents.
