Abstract:
Chilli is a important Spice cum vegetable crop, crop is highly susceptible to Chilli leaf curl virus disease (ChiLCVD). An integrated approach had developed for the management of ChiLCVD of chilli using border crop, use of silver reflecting mulches, application of sea plant bio-molecule, plant extract and chemicals for the management of vector as a components in eight different integrated modules and evaluated in three different formers field in summer 2022. Among the different modules module-1[ with border crop, silver reflecting mulch, insecticides (Including botanical insecticides) and LBD-12 (sea plant bio-molecule)] and module-2 [with border crop, silver reflecting mulch, insecticides ( Including botanical extract) and LBD-14 ( sea plant bio-molecule)] recorded less disease incidence (3.39% and 3.92%), severity (5.11% and 5.70%), whitefly population ( 25.33 and 25.67 on average no), maximum green fruit weight (26.87 t/ha and 24.04 t/ha), maximun plant height ( 66.83 cm and 65.37 cm), maximum fruit weight (493.33 gms/plant and 446.33gms/plant), maximum total number of fruits per plant (69.67 and 66.17) with maximum BC ratio of 6.99:1 and 6.26:1 respectively.
