Abstract:

This study evaluates the “Effect of foliar application of nano-urea on nutrient dynamics, uptake and yield of linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.)” rabi season of 2023-2024 at the College of Agriculture, Latur. Conducted in a randomized block design with three replications, the experiment utilized the recommended linseed variety LSL-93 and twelve treatment combinations. Results indicated that the application of 100% recommended dose RDNP + foliar application (F.A) of nano urea at 0.4% at 20 and 40 days after sowing (DAS) significantly enhanced growth parameters at 25, 50 and 60 at harvest including trait like plant height (23.37, 44.11 and 58.43 cm), number of capsule (8.27, 84.17) and Fresh weight and dry weight (9.08, 40.67 and 4.25, 17.18 g-1). Additionally, grain yield (1401.22 kg ha-1), straw yield (3023.36 kg ha-1), Protein yield (447.31 kg ha-1) and Oil yield (669.48 kg ha-1) were highest in the same treatment. Overall, the foliar application of Nano-urea at the specified dosage proved beneficial for linseed yield and nutrient dynamics.
