The present investigation entitled “To study the impact of foliar application of micronutrient and organic fertilizer on growth & yield parameter of French bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)” was conducted in the field of centre of excellence on protected cultivation and precision farming (COA, IGKV, Raipur, C.G) during rabi 2023-24. The experiment was laid in randomized block design (RBD) with three replications consisting of twelve treatments. The treatments included viz. Chelated Iron 0.1%, Chelated Iron 0.2% , Chelated Zinc 0.1% , Chelated Zinc 0.2% , Boric acid 0.1% , Boric acid 0.2%, Humic acid 1%, Humic acid 2%, Vermiwash 4%, Vermiwash 5% as foliar application at stage (20 DAS), stage (40 DAS) and stage (60 DAS). Foliar spray of micronutrients was done at 20, 40 and 60 DAT of French bean. The results revealed that foliar application of treatment significantly maximum yield parameters such as maximum number of green pod plant-1 (50.37), maximum number of pod cluster-1 (5.83), maximum pod length (15.55 cm), maximum pod width (1.04 cm), maximum average fresh pod weight (5.44 gm), maximum yield plant-1 (187.57 gm), maximum yield plot-1 (2.81 kg) and maximum yield ha-1 (18.76 t/hac) was recorded with Treatment T6- boric acid- 0.2%. In economics total cost of cultivation (53790.53 ha-1), gross income (225120.00 ha-1), net return (171329.47 ha-1) and maximum benefit: cost ratio 3.18. In contrast, the minimum value for the above parameters were recorded under T1 (control).
