Abstract:

A field experiment was conducted during Rabi 2023at Central Crop Research Farm, Department of Agronomy, SHUATS, Prayagraj (U.P). The soil of experimental plot was sandy loam in texture, nearly neutral in soil reaction (pH 7.2), low in organic carbon (0.72%), available N (278.48 kg/ha), available P (27.80 kg/ha) and available K (233.24 kg/ha). There were ten treatments each replicated thrice and the experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design. The result showed that growth parameters viz. Plant height (183.6 cm), and Dry weight (80.14 g), no. of grain/ cob (356.41), seed rows/cob (15.52), Cob yield (8.43t/ha), green fodder yield (13.96t/ha), Harvest Index (42.18%) were recorded significantly high with the application of Nano urea-6 ml + Zinc 0.5% + Boron-0.5%. Highest Gross returns (162725INR/ha), Net returns (120640 INR/ha) and B:C ratio (2.9) were recorded significantly high with the application Nano urea-6 ml + Zinc 0.5% + Boron-0.5%. So, the application of Nano urea-6 ml + Zinc 0.5% + Boron-0.5%. was found to be productive as well as economically feasible.
