Wilt of sesamum incited by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. sesami is a destructive disease that significantly affects the production of sesamum in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. This study evaluated various bio-agents and fungicides for their efficacy against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. sesami. Among the bio-agents evaluated, Trichoderma koningii showed the highest percent inhibition (66.48%) which was followed by B. subtilis (55.18%). Amongst the fungicide Carbendazim 50% WP (0.2%), Tebuconazole 25.9% EC (0.1%), Hexaconazole 4% + Zineb 68% WP (0.2%), Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63% WP (0.2%), Carboxin 37.5% + Thiram 37.5% WS (0.1%), and Captan 70% + Hexaconazole 5% WP (0.2%) were most effective with complete inhibition of the test pathogen. Thiram 75% WP was the next best treatment which showed 69.45 percent inhibition of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. sesami.
