Abstract:

A field experiment was conducted during the year 2023-24 and 2024-25 in mrig bahar crop at research field of Precision Farming Development Centre (PFDC), Department of Fruit Science, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G.). The experiment was laid out in Factorial Randomized Block Design (FRBD) with three replications and nine treatments namely (Variety) i.e. V1-Shweta, V2-Lalit and V3-Lucknow -49, (nutrient levels) i.e. N1- Control, N2- 100% RDF (Recommended dose of Fertilizers), N3- 100% RDF + Cow Urine
@2lit plant-1, N4- 75% RDF + Cow Urine @4lit plant-1, N5- 100% RDF + Cow Dung Slurry
@2lit plant-1, N6-75% RDF + Cow Dung Slurry @4lit plant-1, N7-100% RDF + Vermiwash
@ 2lit plant-1, N8- 75% RDF + Vermiwash @4lit plant-1. The objective to study the Effect of different sources of organic fertilizer on quality of guava varieties planted under ultra-high density planting. Results revealed that all the quality parameters like Total soluble solids, ascorbic acids, pH of fruit juice, reducing sugar, non-reducing sugar and total sugar were recorded highest with Lalit variety, combination of 75% RDF + Cow urine @4lit plant -1and also found minimum in variety Lucknow-49 + control (without any application).
