The experiment was carried out at Agri-tourism centre, CCS HAU, Hisar (Haryana) during the year 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 to study the effect of Marigold-Tomato intercropping on the growth parameter of tomato. The experiment was laid out in Completely Randomized design (CRD) with 9 different treatments (T₁ : Tomato intercropped with 1 row of French marigold, T₂: Tomato intercropped with 2 rows of French marigold, T₃: Tomato intercropped with 1 row of African marigold, T₄:Tomato intercropped with 2 rows of African marigold, T₅: Tomato intercropped with 1 row of bacteria treated French marigold, T₆: Tomato intercropped with 2 rows of bacteria treated French marigold, T₇: Tomato intercropped with 1 row of bacteria treated African marigold, T₈:Tomato intercropped with 2 rows of bacteria treated African marigold and T₉: Tomato alone). Among all the treatments T₆: Tomato intercropped with 2 rows of bacteria treated French marigold was recorded with maximum tomato height 30 DAT and maximum number of leaves in tomato.
