Abstract:

This study was focused on impact of cluster frontline demonstrations conducted by KVKs with reference to yield enhancement of major oilseed crops in Chhattisgarh during the year of 2023-2024. The CFLDs interventions had a significant impact on oilseed crops yield enhancement. In the case of sesame, productivity improved by 45.73 percent, while landholding expansion was relatively lower at 35.79 percent. Linseed showed a higher CFLD impact, with landholding increasing by 72.56 percent and productivity rising significantly by 62.73 percent. Mustard also benefited from CFLDs, with landholding increasing by 52.45 percent and productivity improving by 35.49 percent. The data clearly indicates that CFLDs had a positive impact on yield enhancement, with beneficiaries achieving better results than non-beneficiaries.
