Evaluation of different ber (Ziziphus mauritiana L.) genotypes under the Bastar plateau of Chhattisgarh, India

Abstract:
An experiment was conducted at the Research cum instruction farm Krantikari Debridhur College of Horticulture and Research Station, Jagdalpur, MGUVV, Durg, Chhattisgarh, India, during the year 2023-24 to study the physical characters of 16 randomly selected ber (Ziziphus mauritiana L.) genotypes. The results showed that the maximum fruit weight (3.78), length of fruit (3.14), breadth of fruit (2.03), pulp weight (6.12 g), stone weight (3.78 g) was registered under BB-7 genotype of ber which was superior among the genotype.
