The field experiment was titled “Studies on effect of potassium levels on growth and productivity of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) varieties under irrigated condition.” was conducted at the Agricultural Research Farm, RBS College, Bichpuri, Agra, during the Rabi season of 2020-21. The soil of the experimental plot was sandy loam in texture. The experiment was laid out in a Factorial Randomized Block Design with three replications and 12 treatment combinations. Treatments consisted of three wheat varieties (LOK-1, RAJ-4037, and HD-2967) and four potassium levels (0, 30, 60, and 90 kg K₂O ha-1). Results revealed that the tillers plant, higher fresh and dry weight were observed with variety RAJ-4037 (V2). Maximum total number of earhead m-2, number of stand count m-2, grain yield (48.50 q ha-1), straw yield, harvest index (39.65%) net profit (78848.93 Rs. ha-1) and BC Ratio (2.45) were found in variety HD-2967 (V3). Among the various levels of potassium there was higher growth and yield attributes and yield observed with application of @ 90 kg K₂O ha-1 (K3). Maximum grain yield (49.35 q ha-1), straw yield, harvest index (4.015%) and net profit (79018.87 Rs. ha-1) were observed with application of @ 90 kg K₂O ha-1 (K3) and and BC Ratio (2.44) was higher with 60 kg K₂O ha-1 (K2).
