Rashmi Sai, Prabharani Chaudhari, Varsha Kanwar and Rachana Singh
Fifty three rice genotypes were evaluated for estimation of genetic parameters and association analysis by using twelve yield and yield attributing traits. The variability studies among the lines revealed adequate presence of variation for all yield and its relating traits. High values of GCV, PCV, h2 and GAM for majority of yield attributing traits were obtained. Characters viz., number of effective tiller per plant, total number of grain per plant, biological yield per plant and harvest index showed significant positive correlation and direct positive effect on grain yield plant per plant, revealing a relevant relationship with grain yield plant per plant.
