Management of cockroach poisoning in a Persian cat: A case report

Abstract:

A female domestic cat age 1.4 years old was presented to veterinary clinical complex, college of veterinary science and animal husbandry, Mhow with the history of labored breathing since last night, salivation dull depressed and cockroach was eaten by the cat. On Clinical examination revealed, fever and lethargic. The case was diagnosed as cockroach poisoning. The cat was diagnosed timely and treatment was given. After 3 days of treatment revealed symptoms resolved successfully and cat completely recovered from the condition on 5th days after treatment.
