A set of nine varieties of fennel were evaluated for studying of "Studies on Genetic Variability and Character association in Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare Mill.)". The experiment was conducted in a Randomized Block Design with three replications during the Rabi season, 2023 at Horticultural Research Farm, Department of Horticulture, Naini Agricultural Institute, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj. The data were recorded from five randomly selected plants for each variety in all the replications for twelve characters. For the investigation nine varieties has been taken and measured as per the parameter. The results revealed that, maximum number of days to germination (14.33), maximum plant height (108.34 cm) , days to 50 % flowering (113.31), Number of branches (17.85), Number of days taken to maturity (171.88), Number of umbels per plant (26.25), Number of umbellates per umbel (44.29), number of seed per umbel (317.82), seed yield per plant (30.35 g), Yield per hectare (9.93 q/ha) was found the at the harvest of different variety of fennel crop with the variety (Ajmer Fennel-1). From the above experimental finding it may concluded that, the production of fennel crop (Ajmer fennel -1 was found to best in terms of growth and yield.
