Population fluctuation of thrips studies on chilli during kharif 2022-23 and 2023-24, at Student’s Instructional Farm (SIF) of the Department of Agronomy, C. S. Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur Uttar Pradesh. The thrips population along with weather elements was recorded the incidence of pest started from 3^rd to 4^th week of august and reached in peak in last week of September. The correlation studies between thrips population and weather elements indicate positive correlation with temperature and relative humidity and negatively correlated with rainfall. So, environmental variable played significant role in distribution and abundance of thrips population on chilli crop.
