Abstract:
Phytophthora species results in a slow decline of the tree by destroying the feeder roots of susceptible rootstocks and leads to disturbance in uptake of water and nutrients. This pathogen infects resulting in gum exudation. So, keeping this severity of disease an experiment on management of gummosis through integrated disease management strategy by using Bio agents, chemicals and nutrient supplements was laid out at Regional Fruit Research Station, Katol Dist-Nagpur Maharashtra, India. Different treatments combinations of bio-agents and chemicals gave significant reduction in percent oozing lesion. Maximum reduction (45.30%) was achieved due to the application of Bordeaux paste (1:1:10) on trunk along with soil application of Trichoderma harzianum, Pseudomonas fluorescens and VAM @ 100 g each by mixing with 1 kg FYM. + FeSo4 + ZnSo4 @ 200 g each in the periphery of mandarin tree results in management of gummosis in Nagpur mandarin.
