Abstract:
The present investigation on “Effect of the application of Nano urea on growth and nutrient uptake of rabi maize (Zea mays L.) was conducted during rabi 2022-2023 at Agronomy farm, College of Agriculture, Pune. The experiment was laid out with 13 treatments in Randomized Block Design with three replications, consist of 13 treatments. The values of growth attribute were significantly maximum with 75% N through urea + 25% N through two foliar spray of IFFCO Nano urea . Similarly the grain yield and straw yield was recorded higher in treatment T3. The significantly higher nitrogen , phosphorus and potassium uptake by maize crop was obtained with application of 75% N through urea + 25% N through two foliar spray of IFFCO Nano urea than rest of the treatment. The corresponding values are (178.58, 37.31 and 103.43) NPK kg ha-1 respectively. Whereas, lowest nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium uptake was registered with absolute control i.e. T1.
