Abstract:

Digitalization in agribusiness has rapidly transformed traditional farming practices by introducing technologies like precision agriculture, data analytics, and blockchain. This paper provides an in-depth review of how these digital innovations are reshaping the agricultural sector. Key trends, such as smart farming, supply chain transparency, and automation, are analyzed, along with their impacts on productivity, sustainability, and economic efficiency. The paper also explores future directions, including the potential for artificial intelligence (AI) in predictive farming, blockchain for secure transactions, and Internet of Things (IoT) integration for monitoring crops and livestock. Ultimately, this review offers insights into the challenges and opportunities in adopting digital technologies within agribusiness, proposing that digital transformation is critical for meeting global food security needs and advancing sustainable agriculture.
