The field experiment was conducted during kharif season, 2023-24 with cotton variety Rasi (RCH 386 BG II) as a test crop in vertisol with three replication and ten treatments viz, T1 - Absolute Control, T2 - RDF (150:75:75 NPK kg ha-1 + S @ 25 kg ha-1), T3 - 75% RDF + 50% CTF, T4 - 75% RDF + 75% CTF, T5 - 75% RDF + 25% CTS, T6 - 50% RDF + 50% CTS and T7 - 25% RDF + 75% CTS, T8 -75% RDF + 3% Foliar application of Jeevamrut, T9 -75% RDF + Soil application of Jeevamrut ( @ 500 lit/ha at 30-45 DAS). T10 -75% RDF + 0.5% Humic acid (Seed treatment). The compost tea and jeevamrutha prepared and applied as foliar spray at 30, 75 and 120 DAS and as soil drenching at 30 and 45 DAS in treatment. The obtained results reported that foliar application of compost tea as 75% RDF + 75% CTF noted significantly superior growth and yield attributes viz, plant height (149.72 cm), leaf area (144.97 cm2), number of branches (37.36), chlorophyll content (2.69 mg g-1), number of bolls (40.39), boll weight (15.27 g boll-1), seed cotton yield (24.31 q ha-1). It indicated that application of 75% RDF with 75% CTF to cotton was found superior for increase in growth and yield of cotton and reduce up to 25% RDF.
