Abstract:

A field experiment was carried out during rabi season of 2023-24 at Instructional Farm, Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, College of Agriculture, Dapoli, Dist. Ratnagiri, Maharashtra on to Study the Effect of Formulations of Nano phosphorus and Nano phosphorus conjugate on growth and yield of Mustard (Brassica juncea L.) in Konkan region. The experiment was laid out in split plot design with fifteen treatment combinations replicated thrice. The main plot consisted of three phosphorus sources: P1 – Nano phosphorus, P2 – Nano phosphorus conjugate, P3 – Nano DAP (Market product), the sub-plot consisted of five levels of concentrations: C1 – 0 ppm, C2 -25 ppm, C3 – 50 ppm, C4 – 75 ppm and C5 -100 ppm. The result found that, the phosphorus sources P2 (Nano phosphorus conjugate) and concentration C5 (100 ppm) recorded significantly higher yielding attributes such as number of siliquae plant-1, weight of siliquae plant-1, length of siliquae plant-1, number of seeds siliquae-1, weight of seeds plant-1 and economic returns such as cost of cultivation ha-1, gross returns ha-1, net returns and B:C ratio at total cost in Mustard.
