A field experiment was carried out during 2023-24 at Horticultural Research Station, Dr. Y. S. R. Horticultural University, Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh to study the effect of nano fertilizers of magnesium and iron on growth and yield of parthenocarpic cucumber. Results revealed that foliar spray of Nano magnesium oxide @ 100 mg l-1 + Nano ferrous oxide @ 100 mg l-1 on 20th and 40th day after transplanting recorded significant increase in growth parameters like vine length (218.90 cm), internodal length (14.60 cm), chlorophyll content (36.33 SPAD), yield parameters viz., fruit length (16.23 cm), fruit diameter (4.34 cm ), fruit weight (242.33 g), yield per plant (3.46 kg), estimated yield (69.12 t/ha) and quality parameters viz., TSS (2.37 °Brix), titratable acidity (3.03 %) and ascorbic acid (0.44 %). So it can be concluded that foliar spray of nano magnesium and iron twice on 20th and 40th day after transplanting has improved the plant growth, yield and quality of cucumber which proves that it can be used as an alternative to mineral fertilizers.
